AFR - Accenture paid 'significant premium': DDB Group

Technology consultancy Accenture paid a "significant premium" for creative agency The Monkeys and will face major challenges growing the advertising firm, maintaining its culture, and retaining staff, according to the head of advertising and communication firm DDB Group.
The acquisition shows that "creative agencies offer something that consulting companies struggle to deliver – business growth from creativity, rather than growth from cost cutting and efficiency," said Marty O'Halloran, DDB Group ANZ chairman and CEO.
